E-Commerce Marketing Manager

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute marketing communications plan and strategy for a global database of members spanning multiple hotel group partners
- Manage all aspects outbound promotional email campaigns (including schedule, conceptual design, strategy, copy and creative) for HMC’s paid membership programs, including:
- Email Newsletters
- Renewal Emails
- Promotional emails
- Manage content on multiple supporting websites to ensure a cohesive promotional strategy
- Coordinate the creation and manage digital assets (photos, logos, etc.) as needed to support marketing and communication objectives
- Contribute to the effectiveness of HMC’s Corporate Marketing strategy to enhance revenue generation and profitability
- Effectively drive implementation, and operations for Hospitality Marketing Concepts’ global hotel reservation products
- Manage a team of interns and, potentially, future full-time direct reports
Requirements:
- The ideal candidate is a strong, self-starter with 3 to 5 years of experience in managing marketing projects; specifically, managing outbound promotional email campaigns and website content management.
- Experience formulating marketing plans and implementing/managing these plans to success.
- Experience working with web analytics packages (such as Google Analytics, Omniture, etc.) and defining campaign success metrics.
- Good overall knowledge of frequent guest programs in the market, CRM technology, etc.
- Experience with social media websites, such as Facebook and Twitter
- Hotel or Hospitality & Travel marketing experience a big plus.
- Written fluency in multiple languages a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree or above; MBA an asset.

The position is based at the company headquarters in Newport Beach, California. (No relocation package.) Salary package includes a base very competitive base salary plus incentive/bonus.
